I know this isnt the right bored geographically but its so most active. Anyways, I am currently finishing up my undergrad and trying to make a decision regarding law school. I am considering OSU-Moritz, University of Cincinnati school of law and Case Western Reserve with The University of Akron as a safety. I hope to get a job in the Cleveland/Northeast Ohio legal market or possibly the Chicago area. I was wondering which of these schools carries a better reputation with employers and lawyers in general. For obvious reasons I prefer the public schools but it seems that Case is well esteemed and I like the school in general. But I value the ends more than the means to get it and my choice is going to be largely based on which school will help me get the best job. |

I think it's as simple as the best-ranked school. If you have widely different financial aid packages that may alter your choice but, as a rule, go with the top-ranked schools. |

I would say best ranked school in the region you want to practice. Thus, a 35th ranked school in the Midwest would likely be better for you than a 32nd ranked school in the West. Tuition costs and financial aid may also be a factor, but only if the schools are closely ranked (36 and 38, not 36 and 20). Gook luck to you. |
