I am a counsel on Capitol Hill. It's been a great experience and I've been able to be a part of some important legislation. I haven't worked in a firm, though, and think that it's getting time to have that experience (plus enjoy the private sector money). I'm not too interested in getting pigeon-holed into lobbying, but wouldn't mind having a hybrid position where I do legal and government affairs issues. Any thoughts for those who would like to transition but not sure how to go about doing so? |
