A bonus chart would be great. |

The bonus charts are awesome. You need better data for non-NYC markets though. |

I think the idea is that AlreadyBored provides the forum and you (and your friends) (anonymously) provide the data. More visitors = more updates = more accurate information. Spread the word I guess. |

Information on non-amlaw 200 firms, ie. pls shops (Coughlin Stoia) and boutique firms (Keker, etc.) would be a great addition. |

Plaintiffs firms info would be a huge draw. Hard to get data, which is what makes it so valuable. |

Who submitted the salary figures for Greenberg? Are they current? Great site! Keep it up! |

I think the inclusion of non-NALP firms is very important. NALP is generally accurate (although quickly outdated). However, it is really tricky to find information about non-NALP firms. Keep up the good work. |

Yes, as many smaller/more regional firms as you can manage would be appreciated. |

How about dating posts, salary information, etc. with the year? |

I think there should be a separate designation for employee benefits (like EB or something). |

Thanks for the suggestions. We added a stub bonus section last month. More firms will reflect that as time goes on. We have started to note effective dates and bonus dates in the comment section. Again, it will take time for it to make it to all of the firms. We will try to incorporate a bonus date column into our phase 2 roll out. As always, please feel free to edit or add anything you see fit by using the "add firm/office" or "submit corrections" links. We process submissions and corrections on a daily basis. |

Per your request, we added a practice area for Employee Benefits (EB). |

Are you paying attention at all to the salary info, or are you just trying to put up as many firms as possible without the slightest clue as to the veracity of the data? For instance, look at the numbers for New York, dude. Then tell me with a straight face that you verified them! |

Great question. We are currently focused on both expanding and improving the data. We feel our base salary data is highly accurate. We are constantly watching the market, reviewing and verifying submissions and updating the data. As previously noted, bonus figures and billable hours are notoriously difficult to obtain and verify (and frankly, firms distort their hours statistics), and thus may not be perfect. However, we believe our bonus figures are at a minimum very close to the real numbers, and thus give an useful indication of the reality (i.e., a $5K bonus or a $45K bonus). In the absence of a verified memo from the firm, we attempt to verify all of our data. We first attempt to verify the data directly with the firm. Unfortunately, very few firms have responded to our inquiries or firms refuse to verify salary data beyond the first year. We next turn to our wide network and associates at the firm. To be clear, we attempt to verify every submission. For example, someone submitted a correction this week claiming that Greenberg Traurig's NY office has 500 attorneys. However, the firm's site only shows 270 or so. We have only been operating for less than two months. Our data has greatly improved since launch and we expect the data will continue to expand and improve. However, the success of the site ultimately depends upon our users helping us maintain the data in addition to our own efforts to maintain the data. As such, if you see errors, take one minute and submit a correction (it really is that easy) or send us an email at alreadybored@gmail.com. |
